Technical Pistol Classes

Trigger Management

Have you ever missed a shot and had someone tell you it was because you jerked the trigger, and when you asked how to fix it they told you not to jerk the trigger? Well, this class is for you.

Trigger management is suitable for both new and experienced shooters. The class begins with a diagnostic session to show you what causes misses and how to fix them. From there, we will work on properly resetting the trigger during recoil, shooting with deliberate cadences, and more.

This is a one-day course offered on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with our other courses.

Applied Pistol Classes

Application- The act of putting something into operation.

The sequence of these courses is not analogous to any other instructor or school. Pistolcraft is our primary applied course with the subsequent course adding layers to the material it establishes.

Pistolcraft

This course is designed to enhance the student’s ability to utilize a pistol in a protective application. The drills consist of rapid presentations to the target, changing your angle to get a safer shot, shoot/don’t shoot drills, divided attention drills, and more.

This is a one-day course offered on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with our other courses.

Pistolcraft II

Description Pending

Pistolcraft iii

This class is designed to enhance the student’s ability to utilize a pistol in a protective application. Topics include the use of cover, shooting from unconventional positions, alternate sighting techniques, and more.

This is a one-day course offered on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with our other courses.

Pistolcraft IV

This course develops the skills needed to successfully operate a pistol one-handed. Students will learn through a progression of freestyle and dominant hand only drills to ultimately draw, reload, and clear malfunctions using only their non-dominant hand. It is much more convenient to learn how to do this on the range than to have to figure it out under incoming fire.

This class is for those with well developed gun handling skills who want to challenge and expand their skillset.

This is a one-day course offered on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with our other courses.

Shotgun Classes

Shotgun Manipulations

Manipulations- The act of using something in a skillful manner.

This class focuses on the manipulations and skills required to utilize a shotgun as a personal protection tool. Topics will include safety, proper loading and unloading techniques, ready conditions, ammunition considerations, and more.

This is a one-day course offered on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with our other courses.

Carbine Classes

CLOSE RANGE CARBINE

This class focuses on the unique challenges of using a carbine to protect you and your loved ones at the distances encountered in and around the home. While you are welcome to wear chest rigs and “battle belts”, the context of the material will be the rapid deployment of the carbine to counter threats in and around the home in situations in which you won’t have time to “gear up”.

***Due to the scarcity of ammo at present, a rimfire carbine such as the S&W M&P15-22 or a Ruger 10/22 are welcome in the class. Detachable magazines of at least 10-rounds are a must.

This is a one-day course offered on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with our other courses.

Contract Classes

These classes are available via a contract basis. Perspective hosts may contact me for a rate based upon the location and the number of students.
